Camping by the sea and in the countryside
in South Finistère
For hikers and seaside walkers, the proximity of our sea and nature campsite in South Finistère to the beaches of Mousterlin, Beg Meil and Cap-Coz (Fouesnant) gives quick access to coastal paths.
Here, nature reigns supreme. At the bend of a sunken path, on foot or by bike, you come upon a coastal marsh or polder. Between two rocky points, the dunes, fine sand beaches, stretch as far as the eye can see. 150 km of signposted trails, described in a topographical guide, allow you to discover a particularly protected natural environment.
During school vacations, accompanied nature outings are organized.
You’ll also appreciate the dreamy landscapes of the Cornish coast, from Guilvinec to Pont-Aven via Concarneau, from Penmarch to Douarnenez via the Pointe du Raz.
The Mousterlin marsh
Camping de la Plage de Cleut Rouz, a campsite in Fouesnant, overlooks the Mousterlin marshes, which today belong to the Conservatoire du Littoral.
The Mousterlin marshes are an environment unlike any other… They are home to canals, marshy willows, dunes (home to species of high heritage value such as dune thistle and sand toadflax), and salt ponds…
Don’t miss the reed beds, ideal resting, nesting and feeding sites for many birds…
